ANAL INTERCOURSE AND ANALINGUS

Why would anyone want to have anal sex?

For many people, anal sex is the ultimate taboo. Buttfucking makes
it sound crude and dirty, sodomy sounds technical. In the 1990's,
anal sex has been given the bad rap because of HIV, the virus that
causes AIDS, is most easily transmitted by anal intercourse. But
some people love anal sex. Others hate it. Others haven't tried it
yet and are curious. And many people are attracted to it precisely
because it's so taboo and mysterious.

What is analingus?

One other part of the body that some people enjoy licking, or having
licked, is the anus. The anus has half the nerve endings in the
pelvic region and many people find touching it to be sexually
arousing. Although we haven't mentioned safer sex yet as part of
this series, we will here: the anus and rectum carry many diseases
that live quite benignly in your lower digestive tract, but which can
be harmful in your mouth or stomach. Performing anilingus is a very
risky behavior for a variety of bacterial infections. Refer to the
section on safer sex techniques for ways to protect yourself if you
or your partner enjoys this activity.

Does anal sex hurt?

Anal sex should not hurt. If it hurts, you're doing it wrong. With
enough lubricant and enough patience, it's entirely possible to enjoy
anal sex as a safe and fulfilling part of your sex life. However,
some people may never like it, and if your lover is one of those
people, respect their limits. Don't force the idea upon them.

Can anal sex actually give pleasure?

The pleasure of anal sex is derived from many things. Doing
something "nasty" appeals to many people, especially about sex.
Doing something different to spice up a sex life that has become
something of a bore can be part of it. And the physical sensations
available during anal sex are uniquely different from anything else.
The rectum is lined with nerve endings, some of which signal the
brain to 'reward' you with good feelings when stimulated. For men,
the prostate gland can be a source of powerful pleasure. And for a
thrusting penis, the tight ring of the anus can be a new and strong
sensation to enjoy.

What do I need to have anal sex?

The most important pieces of advice anyone can give on anal sex are:
lubricants, condoms, and patience. The most commonly available
lubricant is KY-Jelly, a greaseless, odorless substance available at
most drug stores. Better lubricants include Astroglide, ID, Wet, or
ForePlay, some of which are available at better drug stores, and most
of which are available in some form at adult toy stores. Do not buy
anything that is oil-based. Make sure the lubricant you buy is rated
"condom compatible." Nothing else will do. Oil- based lubricants
such as vaseline or baby oil will destroy a condom long before you're
done having sex. And many oil-based sub- stances will coat the
lining of the rectum, providing a haven for many potential
infections.

Do I have to use a condom?

Even if you're sure that both you and your partner are disease- free,
using a condom is still a good idea. The rectum is home to lots of
infectious bacteria that can cause burning and urethritis of the
penis. It will also help you clean up afterwards.

I'm worried that anal sex will be messy.

Anal sex can be messy, but such a mess can be avoided; after all,
most people can tell when they have to go to the bathroom. A condom
will help with cleanup, of course, and if you're really concerned, a
commercial enema, like Fleet, will help beforehand. If you do use a
commercial enema, read the instructions carefully.

How do we prepare for anal sex?

Patience is the third and final thing you need to make anal sex
possible. Initial penetration is always the most difficult part of
anal sex-- the anus is a tight ring of flesh at the opening of the
rectum designed to control the elimination of bodily waste. It is
partially under voluntary control, and partially reflexive to stim-
ulation. Your partner has to relax, and you have to go slow to coax
it into opening enough to recieve your penis. Start with a well-
lubricated finger or a slim (smaller than your penis) dildo. The
dildo is more realistic, but your fingers can flex and feel what
they're doing inside her ass. Slide one finger in slowly, letting
her adjust to it. Take your finger all the way out, then push it
back in again. Give her anus time to get used to this kind of
activity. Then slide a second finger in. Consider how big your
penis is and realize that two fingers is probably enough.

What position should we use for anal sex?

For actual intercourse, picking a position can be important. Many
women want to be on top, to regulate how fast penetration occurs.
Other like to lie on their stomachs, or crouch doggy-style, or to be
penetrated while lying on their sides. Choose what's best before you
start. As always, control yourself. Take your time and use lots of
lubricant. People who like anal sex say that "too much lube is
almost enough." Listen to your partner-- if she tells you it starts
to hurt, back off. Eventually, a time will come during your
lovemaking where her anus will relax enough to allow the head of your
cock to 'pop' into her. If she is completely relaxed, that pop
should feel completely painless. Now just because you're inside her
is no reason to start pounding away like mad. Let her body adjust.
Take your time. Eventually you will both be ready for more.

Can I get pregnant from anal sex?

It is not *technically* possible to get pregnant from anal sex; there
is no way for semen to get from the rectal tract to the vaginal
tract. However, anal sex is still not a very good method of birth
control. Semen leaking from the anus after intercourse may drip
across the perineum (the short stretch of skin separating vulva and
anus) and cause what is known as a 'splash' conception. The failure
rate for this is surprisingly high! 8% of couples of who use anal sex
as a method of birth control have babies each year.

What if I don't like it?

You may find that anal sex just isn't for you. That's fine. Nothing
says that you have to indulge in something that doesn't make you feel
good.

Rabbit Sex Vibrator

Among the most popular adult toys are vibrators. These products offer an easy and fun way in which you can stimulate and improve your love life. But there might be something you don’t know: vibrators are not only various in their types, but in their purpose too. If, for instance, your love life is beginning to be monotonous or if you want to bring your partner to orgasm without having to worry about premature ejaculation, you’re clicking the right way!

We have included a wide range of vibrators. For example, the vibrators are either latex, plastic or silicone, they vary in shape and size (Fun, Classic, Jelly, G-spot, Strap on, remote, Kits etc), are waterproof and portable. Vibrators are the perfect toy for you and your loved one. Whether you are a veteran or a beginner, you can experience the ultimate orgasm with masturbation or with your partner.

Rabbit vibrators help achieving the most extraordinary orgasm through a combination of vaginal and clitoral stimulating movements. Electric vibrators are high quality and long lasting. They deliver intense vibrations that ensure intense orgasms. These vibrators are great for first timers. In most cases waterproof vibrators do not have any remote control or control panel with wires. The batteries are inserted into the unit and are activated from the base. It is a more convenient variant for escaping water leaking. For the more conservative we offer traditional vibrators. The classic vibrator is practical and fun. For those of you who want to come as close as possible to the real thing we suggest realistic looking vibrators which are made from skin like materials. Textured and shaped to simulate the real thing, you might never be able to tell the difference. Also, strap on vibrators allow you to keep your hands free while experiencing pleasure. You choose what you want to do and how you want to do it with an assortment of strap on vibrators. And many more accessories of this type can be found. You will find dozens of products and get the chance to find out which is the most suitable for you and your loved one. But vibrators can also be sexy items that can be included into a couple’s love life. They can be used for foreplay, to create pleasure whenever you want in your sexual acts, to induce long-lasting and more pleasurable orgasms. But that is not all! The thing that the couples most fear is that of the use of sextoys that might separate them or make one of them feel useless. This is not true, as sextoys have been created to facilitate and not replace! They can improve sexual communication between each other, make you think of new ways to explore your bodies and help you try out new sexual experiences in and out of the bed! All in all, you can call us the ideal spicy sauce for your already love-boiling pasta!

Sex Toys - Enhance the Pleasure

Sex aids or sex toys devices made to vary or enhance pleasure during sexual activity. They are used primarily on the genitals or around the genitals, but some can be used on other parts of the body as well. People use them when they are on their own or with partners. On the whole, people who use sex aids do not use them every single time they engage in sex nor do they always use the same aid on each occasion.

The list of sex aids is a long one. They are usually sold in special erotica shops or through mail order catalogues. Some of the more common ones include the following:

Vibrators. Vibrators are electrical machines powered by batteries or plugged into electrical outlets. They come in different sizes and shapes; some have variable speed controls to allow the user to personalize the intensity of the stimulation.

The more popular kinds of personal vibrators are battery powered, cylindrical or penis shaped in different diameters and lengths, and sometimes come with attachments for different parts of the body.

The sexual sensations
produced by a vibrator can be both intense and rapidly felt. Vibrators must be used gently on sensitive body tissue. Some people use a towel between the skin and the vibrator to cut down on the intensity of the sensation. Using a water-based lubricant can also make a vibrator more comfortable and stimulating.

Vibrators, especially AC-powered models, are never to be used in or with water, and battery powered models may overheat if used for extended periods of time.

Ben Wa Balls. This device, which originated in the orient, consists of a set of two metal balls. One is solid and is placed in the vagina near the cervix; the other one is partially filled with mercury and is also placed in the vagina, near the first one. Any movement causes the mercury filled ball to hit the deeper one, spreading vibrations through the vaginal area. Women primarily use them on their own, but they can also be incorporated into sexual activity with a partner.

Cock Rings. A cock ring is a metal, leather, or rubber ring-shaped device, usually from 1 1/2 to 2 inches in diameter. The testicles and the erect penis are slipped through the ring, which fits tightly, putting pressure on the dorsal vein of the penis. The idea is that the cock ring will keep the blood that has engorged the penis from flowing out. The man will therefore retain his erection longer and, theoretically, be able to prolong his sexual activity. Some men also wear cock rings when they want their genitals to look larger under their pants. Proper fit is important so that the penis and testicles do not get bruised. Caution is needed not to wear the rings too tightly or for an extended period of time, since they act as a tourniquet limiting blood flow and can cause severe damage to the genitals.

Erotic Creams, Lotions and Oils
. These come in various scents and flavors and are primarily designed to make caressing and massage more sensuous, though some are used as lubricants for intercourse. The sensations and scents of creams, lotions and oils on the skin can be arousing for some people. The flavor of the cream or oil is often important for couples who want to have oral sex or like to kiss their partner's body all over.

French Ticklers. French ticklers are devices that fit over the penis and are designed to tickle and increase sensation in the vagina during intercourse. These devices are pre-shaped (unlike condoms, which come rolled up) and their surfaces are equipped with ridges and small probes. French ticklers can be reused after thorough washing. It is important to note that while they fit over the penis in a fashion similar to condoms, they are NOT birth control devices

Leather Garments and Accessories. Leather has a distinctly erotic appeal for some people. It is a common element in sadomasochistic (S&M) fantasies used to express dominance . Some people get excited if threatened by someone who is clothed in leather or who is using leather implements. The dominant person (sadist) in these scenarios also usually derives pleasure from the wearing or use of leather. Leather is also used in bondage and discipline (B&D) in the form of harnesses or straps.

Masturbators. These are devices with soft, usually latex sleeves, often designed to resemble the female vagina, into which a man can place his erect penis. If this sexual aid is an electrically or battery powered model, it can be controlled by the user to operate at varying desired speeds to create a rhythmic motion, stimulating the man to reach orgasm and ejaculate.

Penis Extenders
. A penis extender is a hollow penis-shaped device that is placed over the end of the penis to make it seem larger. Usually it is held in place by straps or a harness that goes around the waist.

The use of sex aids and sex toys is not readily accepted by all. For the most part sex toys are designed solely to increase pleasure. Because our society is in conflict over the rightness of sexual pleasure, it is not surprising that sex toys are subject to numerous myths and controversies. Some of the more common misconceptions are: that the use of sexual aids is a sign of being a pervert; that using sexual devices in a relationship is a sign that the relationship is not going well; people who use sexual aids become addicted to them; and homosexuals use sex aids more that heterosexuals do. None of these, of course, is true.

Nonetheless, many people feel ambivalent about using sex aids. They may feel that using mechanical devices during intimate moments is unnatural, depersonalizing or replacing their partner. While these concerns may have merit, it is generally not simply the use of sex aids that contributes to ill feelings, but how they are used and what their use means to an individual or to a couple. If the use of sexual aids objectifies or depersonalizes sexual experiences, there may be a problem in the relationship that requires attention. If people are using sexual devices as a crutch because they feel inadequate or inferior, then their negative feelings may need to be explored. Under circumstances like these, the use of sexual devices can be unhealthy substitutes for interpersonal relationships.

Some couples find that a healthy relationship can comfortably accommodate the addition of sex toys. Others may find that after some experimentation they prefer to do without them. Still others may feel that their sexual value is threatened by the use of sex aids. An insecure individual may wonder if his or her partner is using a sex aid because of dissatisfaction with him or her.

These issues and any others that may be raised as a result of introducing sexual aids may be seen as an opportunity for individuals and couples to explore their feelings and discover the problems in their relationships. It is important to consider, however, that using sex aids is normal and not using sex aids is normal. It is simply a matter of individual preference.

Although the majority of sex aids and toys are sold to people who use them just to enhance their pleasure, some can be used in the treatment of sexual problems. Videos, audiotapes and written material can be helpful in assisting an individual or a couple to overcome anxiety or lack of information. Also, sexual devices can be particularly helpful for some disabled people whose disability inhibits their sexual expression. In order to improve communication and intimacy, marital and sex therapists suggest that couples who have concerns or fears about the use of sex aids or toys should be encouraged to talk openly with their
partner about their feelings.
